On your left, Lance.

It's snowed - again - tonight. Ok, for all my Yankee friends, it was flurries, only light flurries. But it never snows here anymore so it is an unusual sight. I am sick of the cold. As I get older, I get colder. I'm ready for spring.

Monday night, there was a great sunset. I was on a 20-mile ride with some friends. It was my first real ride of the year. It was my first ride to prepare for my assault on the Alpe d'Huez in June. (On your left, Lance.) I have a long way to go before I ride up the most famous mountain on the Tour de France. I figure if I start training now I won't die in the French Alps before my parents anniversary. That would be bad. I took the spectacular sunset as a good omen.
