I have eight minutes left. I have eight minutes to start my New Year's resolution. I promise to write every day - ok, almost every day. I have to be real. So, time is running out on the first day of 2009 and I have to write something.

Today was a day of polar bears and new moms. I had to shoot a bunch of people crazy enough to jump into a lake on the first day of January. Crazy people. Who knows why people do crazy things on New Year's?
